Wes Kos Images is a mural production and creative painting company. The community business identity of Sacramento visual artist and a creative programs art instructor, Markos Egure.

As a community mural artist, he believes it is crucial to immerse himself in the stories of the people around him. His goal as an artist is to observe the principles of life and use his creativity to reimagine various subjects with unique and intuitive perspectives. He has decided to focus on Social Justice/Food Justice for his upcoming project. He will lead a team of young people to paint and tell stories about this subject at their school location.

"This subject, food justice or injustice conundrum, exists because I believe it is a foundational and widely unknown action of social equality and economic separation. Many daily actions in the same separation arena are seen in someone's physical location awareness or seen in someone's self-expression challenges, but to acknowledge the neighborhood's local food source as one of them isn't understood and comprehended is a possibility."  Markos Egure

Students who are part of Burbank Urban Garden, academic agricultural studies, and the youth workforce team will better understand their studies by contributing to the visual imagery used in a placemaking project for the Luther Burbank High School campus.
