For the first time ever on the podcast, I’m joined by an Emmy winning actor. The uber talented Kevin Mambo joins me from Simba’s Brooklyn pad and we discuss how him and Simba met speaking their native language Shona in a random Brooklyn bar. He tells us how he went from Zimbabwe to Canada and out to Los Angeles winning 2 Emmy’s on the daytime show “Guiding Light” along the way. Besides television, Kevin has also starred on many Broadway shows such as Fela and Book of Mormon. He reminisces about DJ’ing in the 90s at all the hot clubs in NYC and how that time of crazy clubbing at places like Limelight, Tunnel and South Factory have vanished.
