Dr. McCoy's TriCorder is here today!

My show this week is about the future of medicine.  For almost a year now, I have been having a friend of mine scan my body with her "Dr. McCoy TriCorder" machine.   The machine she is using was developed years ago in Europe and then brought to this country to train doctors, and the AMA together with the FDA stopped it.   Now there is a report that a new company is coming out with a device called the Scanadu Scout.  You can google it.  And this is the future.  Soon we will all have a read-out on our smart phone that tells us everything that we need to know about our health and what to do about it!    We will be our own doctor.  And all you might have to do to get well is to wear purple!
