EPISODE 259 "THE EVIL INDUSTRY"

The entertainment industry is pretty hellish. You only have so many slots at the top, and those slots are NEVER permanent. Even worse is what you have to do the get remotely close to those slots, and even still nothing is guaranteed. The industry is not for the faint at heart. Some would say that it's not for the loyal or the moral either. It's hard to have those as qualities and be in the entertainment industry. The word friend will quickly become used to describe someone you now want to fight and bad mouth. There are soooo many PLAYERS in the game. Behind the scenes, in front of the camera, puppets and puppeteers , all on a stage with basically no real script. In a business where death and life are sensationalized (see Whitney Houston and Blue Ivy Carter as recent examples) what one could even remotely consider a NORMAL life is non existent. From the street rapper, struggling actress, scheming manager, greedy label head, egotistical On air Personality or DJ, shady business is often the status quo. But then LACK OF BUSINESS SENSE is the ultimate undoing of most who try to enter this BUSINESS. Conflicting point of views I know, but this game is full of conflict. Sometimes the evil touches close to home and a friend gets shot, or does the shooting. A star we loved and sung with for 2 decades is gone over night and people ask why, how? No one knows, but the entertainment industry has a very negative view in the eyes of people that is in it, and DEFINITELY in the eyes of people who are not in it. Tonight Ill talk about it all.
