Whether we are satisfied with Masonry depends where we look for satisfaction. There are few barriers to the experience of masonry other than a lack of imagination and a lack of self-discipline. Those character traits, fortunately are always lurking close bye. Your depth as a person will be evident in some way to those around you. We normalize this thinking by educating ourselves in the ways of freemasonry. Philosophical explanations are such a release that people with that ability have no reason to doubt. Somehow life goes on. If we are curious about the nature of masonry in our context there is an easy way to test it. Simple be yourself. Read as you will, and inevitably like-minded will find you as you find them. Tensions? Those are boyish transgressions, meaningless in the big scheme of things. What is far more interesting I find, is the way the goal of understanding removes conflict. It is uncanny knowing we do not have to participate. I like to think there are ways to rise about it. We work best when we all assume accountability to a greater truth is not asserting our mindset anywhere.
