The Greek G-ds had human failings like jealousy, greed, avarice, narcissism along with great powers. Citizens of Athens lived within a canon that determined a daily devotion each day to a different G-d. Do we need to believe there is an end of time? Often misunderstood, the ancient Greeks referred to this as the apocalypse; being a word that in Greek means- pulling back the veil, not an end. Some faiths teach devotees that each ending marks a new beginning.
