Christmas Captures The Heart and Mind of a Freemason

Brethren,

What would be better than to welcome the Christmas Day with a visit to Masonic Home Companion.

The spirit within us is known to those who understand its nature.    At this time of renewal and hope,  we are too often restricted by the influences of a secular vision of the world.

Keeping it straight means we are receptive to knowledge, to understanding.  There no dominance, only futility trying to subjugate a person who can truly never be brought under control.

Freemasonry is understood when there is a balance between  independence and loyalty given without hesitation. Only shallow beliefs hold us back.

Connecting to a meaning is important. There are many religiions all saying basically the same thing. 

At this wonderful time of year, listen to music that expresses the essence of humanity- that speaks to your heart as well as your mind.

We are Freemasons. Our temple is of the mind. Our symbols are pneumonics to reveal knowledge to those who seek truth.

Deep or shallow? It does not separate us at all. This is a time when we celebrate life, the experiences that define meaning.

Come this morning with the wonder of the child that is within you and the wisdom of your age. Even if we don't understand it all, we do not need to do that, to enjoy the occasion.

Today is a good day to represent Hiram. Be the Mason that is within and make it know to those around by thoughtful acts of kindness.

May the spirit of the season wrap you in generosity, may you commit random acts of masonic kindness, may you be grateful for everything you have and want for little else.

May the Angels bring you a Joyeous and Merry Christmas and follow you until time is no more.
