Beware of Distraction and A Year in the Word

We are combining encouragement in the Word with the reading of the Word today.  This will only happen on once day per week so that we can remain consistent with our readings.  Today, our topic for encouragement is "Beware of Distraction."  The word of God tells us over and over and in many ways to keep our eyes on the prize--To follow Jesus without fail, and he will direct our lives in the ways of Holiness, wholeness, peace, hope, love, and prosperity.  His grace will guide us into eternity, and we must remember that the enemy of God is also our enemy and he seeks to destroy our lives while Jesus is here right now to give us Life and that more abundantly.  Come with me now as we here the story of a servant who was persuaded by someone he would have never suspected to turn from his path.  Learn from him, and beware of distraction.  Immediiately following we will go into the reading of the Word for today. It is important to be readers, hearers, and doers of the Word of God.  2018 is our year to Know God better!
