The Birth of Christ: Part One

I love Christmas time.  I love the decorations, the merry hearts, and the scents of gingerbread and pine in the air.  People seem to be more tolerant, and more generous this time of the year.  The heart of the children are anticipating wonderful gifts, and the parents are working hard to make sure they are not disappointed.

The same is true with the Father, he gives good gifts, and he works diligently, faithfully, lovingly to give good gifts to his children.  We are the joy of his heart, and he wants the very best for us, and so he made of way for us to be healed of our alienated relationship.  He did this with such precision, and such love that he carefully through time announced to us the hope that was forthcoming.  Through 40 and 2 generations, he brought forward the prophecy that he had spoken in the beginning, right there in the garden,  He spoke of the seed of the woman that would bring forth a fatal blow to the enemy who had cut us off from our original intent, to be in perfect relationship, perfect harmony with our Creator, our God.  Come with me over the next two Mondays as we read the Word and discover....The Birth of Christ, our LORD, our Savior, the HOPE of all mankind.
