Tonight we will be talking to Amanda Maxwell of the Non Profit Organization caqlled "Wrongfully Accused and Convicted Individuals"..  W.A.A.C.I. raises awareness and raises money to help wrongfully convicted individuals hire effective counsel..  Amanda will be talking about cases where people have been convicted of crimes and are currently incarcerated from them..  Hal Hebert has served nearly 20 years for a conviction he did not commit in the Denver area, Efren Medina is serving on death row in Arizona, James Griffin has been in a Kansas prison for nearly 20 years, Leonard Coleman is currently in a Alabama prison and the person who committed the crime has even came clean, yet Leonard is still there..  The legal fees for prisoners once convicted starts at $70,000 to retain effective counsel and yet a lot of people have spent so much money and they are still not able to appeal the decision..  Ronald Shanklin was convicted even though he wasn't even in Ohio and is still there fighting for his rights..  We will be talking about these cases in more depth on tonight's show at 9pm..  563 999-3618
