Megan Loh is a Girl Scout and a senior from Troy High School in Fullerton, California. She is a STEM and gender activist who is immensely passionate about bridging the gender gap in the STEM fields. She has been catalyzing social change, promoting a more inclusive society, fighting stereotypes, and fostering underserved girls' interests in STEM through founding her non-profit organization, GEARup4Youth (GEARup4Youth.org), and her debut book, Easy STEM Activities You Can Do at Home!. She has been featured on/spoken in international, national and local media at the United Nations, TODAY Show, C-SPAN, Spectrum News, ABC7 Eyewitness News, OC Family Magazine, KROQ Radio, KFI AM 640, LA Times, and OC Register. She has received several national recognitions for her initiatives, including the National Gold Award Girl Scout, General Motors STEM for Changemaking National Award, President's Gold Volunteer Service Award, Prudential Spirit of Community Award Distinguished Finalist, US Congressional Gold Medal, NCWIT Aspirations in Computing National Honoree and more.
