It has been said that Ontario's Ryan Laird learned to hum back a melody before he could speak, and that the art of creating music has always been second nature. At the age of 5, Ryan began learning piano, and received his first guitar at the age of 7 for Christmas. After studying jazz, guitar and voice at Humber College in Toronto, he packed his bags and moved his life down to Nashville with high hopes of furthering his career as a performer and songwriter at the age of 19. After a few years in Nashville, he signed his first publishing deal with Cherry Lane Music Publishing.

In 2013, Ryan founded the National BiggerThanThat!™ Movement as a platform for bullying prevention and youth empowerment and a way to give back to communities across the country. His philanthropic tour has impacted over 300,000 Canadian youth to date.

In August 2014, he signed a Nashville publishing and artist development deal with Studio Gold Music, Inc. and consequently released his 13 track album, titled, "Bigger Than That".

In September 2016, Ryan released “Wear Me Out”, which was written by Ryan and Grammy winner Joe West, and Mike Todd.

Ryan is here to share his latest single "Gamble On Love" as well as the first song he released to Country radio "I'm Your Man" which he co-wrote with Jason McCoy.
