Born and raised in Haifa, Israel, in the 50s. Served in the IDF as a Tank commander between the years of 1972-1975 and fought in the 1973 Yom Kippur war. After the service, and went to film school in Israel, consequently worked on several productions in Israel including “A Woman called Gold (Ingrid Bergman)”, “Best Defense” (Eddie Murphy) and “Sahara” (Brook Shields), moved to Los Angeles California. In 1987, got his first break into the industry on an ultra low budget movie called “Out to lunch” and worked on deferment (Never saw a penny…).

Eddie continued working in the industry as a 1st AD until 1989 when he joined the DGA, was not qualified yet to be a DGA 1st, so Eddie worked as a 2nd AD until he got his qualification in 1993 and worked exclusively as a 1st AD since then.

Worked as a First AD for almost 40 years until retired in 2020.
