Reyna Gilbert-Lowry serves as serves as Senior Associate Athletics Director for Inclusive Excellence and Alumni Engagement and Senior Woman Administrator at Virginia Tech. She joined the Hokies in 2008 and her responsibilities include developing strategic diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging initiatives designed to increase awareness and promote inclusion for student-athletes, coaches and staff. Additionally, she is responsible for oversight of the Monogram Club (former student-athlete letterwinners) and Lombardi Student-Athlete Development Center.

In her role as Senior Woman Administrator, she works to support student-athletes and coaches across the Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC). Gilbert-Lowry also chairs the Virginia Tech Athletics Diversity and Inclusion Council and is a member of the Atlantic Coast Conference Committee for Racial and Social Justice.

Gilbert-Lowry earned her undergraduate degree in Psychology from Northern Illinois University, where she was also a four-year starter on the women’s gymnastics team. She also earned a master’s degree from Ball State University in Sport and Exercise Psychology. A native of Orlando, Fla., Gilbert-Lowry currently lives in Blacksburg with her husband, Spencer, and their daughters, Brooklyn and Harlow.
