Kevicia Brown, a Jacksonville, FL native, is a double graduate of Florida Agricultural & Mechanical University, where she earned a Master's in Sport Management and a Bachelor's in Occupational Wellness /Pre-Occupational Therapy. Brown is currently in the Educational Leadership, Policy, and Law doctoral program at Alabama State University with a research focus aligned with student success and policy and has a graduation expectancy of fall 2022.

Brown currently serves as the Assistant Athletic Director for Academic Services and the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee Advisor at Alabama State University. Throughout her career, she has sat in various roles within the sports industry from coaching to non-profit /corporate sports, international sports, academic advising, student-athlete development, and even has a background working in mental health.

She is an active member of the National Association of Collegiate Directors of Athletics (NACDA), Minority Opportunities Athletic Association (MOAA), Women Leaders in College Sports, the National Association of Academic Advisors for Athletics (N4A), and was a part of the 2019 (15th Annual) Steve McDonnell Professional Development Institute class. Brown also serves as a member of N4A's Ethnic Concerns Committee within the subcommittee of HBCU Involvement and Limited Resource Institutions.
