Jacqueline Nicholson joined Albany State Athletics in January 2017 as the Associate Athletics Director for Academics, Compliance and Student-Athlete Development and Senior Woman Administrator. Nicholson's responsibilities include sport supervision and daily operation of academics, compliance and student-athlete support services to ensure student-athlete success. In addition, Nicholson oversees business operations and facilities and game management operations.

She currently serves as the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division II South Regional Representative for Indoor and Outdoor Track and Field. Nicholson is also a member of the National Association of Academic Advisors for Athletics where she currently serves as the 2nd Vice President, Women Leaders in College Sports and the National Academic Advising Association,

She is the proud parent of Kylie Nicholson-Clark.
