Let's Talk Fort Worth: The Jaylen Rice Story

Tara Rice, the mother of Jaylen Rice alleges her son 's civil rights are being violated. She states he is being denied due process because his court appointed attorney Steven Gordon will not file motions on his behalf, and is having secret meetings with William Knight the assistant district attorney. Ms. Rice states she was arrested Apri 12, 2022 around 6:00pm. At 7:56pm the same night the assistant district attorney William Knight put her as a state's witness to testify against her own son. Jaylen's court appointed attorney Steven Gordon has also asked Ms. Rice not to be so verbal in speaking out about the wrongdoings associated with Jaylen's case because he will need her to speak at the sentencing hearing. However, Ms. Rice states her son Jaylen is being falsely accused of a crime he didn't commit and tonight she's speaking out.
