It's the weekend when most people in the U.S. are celebrating Thanksgiving. Of course it is a celeration that draws controversy as many question its historical significance. Then there is one narrative or another as the debate continues as to what it really means. But whatever the disposition, there is always something to celerate and the Caribbean Global Voices is here to celebrate with you through the Saturday Morning Entertainment Show. And because there is almost always a controversy in every celebration we have to hold a conversation so let's talk.

Sixty years ago the American president, John F. Kennedy was buried on today's date after he was assasinated as a he rode in a motorcade on a visit to Texas. Today, the discourse on Kennedy's assasination reads more like an urban legend with different factions having different versions of the legend. The United States with all its resources and renown for its investigative techniques still cannot produce a single story worthy of validation as to who assasinated Kennedy and why. Kennedy's presidency and assasination was compared to that of Abraham Lincoln one hundred years earlier. Lincoln the Emancipation president and Kennedy the Civil Rights President drew comparisons from commentators. Should Kennedy's assasination be such a mystery?  Is the truth known and is being concealed? If you cannot trust the government regarding the assasination of its chief executive officer, can you trust it regarding any other crime?  Come on in, join the conversation or tell us what you want to talk about. We're always happy to hear from you.

Bobbi Wilson the little 9 year old Black girl on whom a white neighbor called the police while she was spraying lantern flies is being honored by Yale University.
