The Saturday Morning Entertainment Show

The most famous season of celebration is winding down. But there are still lots of reasons to celebrate and we are right here to celebrate it all with you. It is the Saturday Morning Entertainment Show with host, Ivor Henry brought to you by Caribbean Global Voices. It's still time to say Happy New Year to our loyal fans, friends and supporters. Here's hoping that the year has started off with all the great hope, joy, excitement and promise that you look forward to. And just in case it didn't we will continue to make it an exciting Saturday Morning with inspiration, music, sports, greetings, commentary and conversation.

January 2023 marks the 100th anniversary of the Rosewood massacre where a white mob desended upon a Black community in Florida burnng homes, churches, schools and businesses while murdering its residents. This occurred on the days of January 4 thru 7 1923 after a white woman in the neigboring town of Sumner claimed that a black man assaulted her. 

Yesterday afternoon, Friday Jan. 6, a 6 yr. old first grader shot a teacher at an elementary school in New Port News Virginia. The teacher is left with life threatening injuries.
