Greta Thunberg the 19 year old activist from Sweden on the issue of climate change has recently called for a dismantling of Western socio-culture which she has identified as the cause of disastrous erratic climatic conditions that is threatening life on the planet as we know it. Are the changing climatic conditions really a threat to human existence? If so, why is there no urgency? Why aren't the world governing bodies showing more commitment about doing something?
