CCC-Musician, Advocate, Educator Braydbunch

Born Sean B. Brady, much of their childhood was spent in a depression due to not being able to transition to the gender they identified as. She went to Harborfields High School, the same Mariah Carey graduated from. After Mariah gave a free concert to Braydbunch and her classmates in the school gym, Sean was determined to become a musician themself. Since she was a kid, rhyming words served as an escape from her problems, winning poetry/music competitions to document all that she has gone through. At 14, Sean began to get serious about music, joining many failed musical groups. She realized that if she were going to succeed, she would have to do so on her own. After starting their gender transition in college, she discovered the world of drag. While exploring this passion she actually made a name for herself, becoming Brady Bunch, which she would later respell as "Braydbunch". Being rejected by her fellow rappers due to being trans, she found anger that flows through much of her music. Her experience with discrimination as a trans woman has added some fuel to the fire. She give us a glimpse into the struggles of being transgender, while breaking stereotypes. She embraces the Non-Binary movement, bringing different characters to life who express their gender very differently from one another. Shady Brady is the name of one of her alter-ego’s, who is much angrier and aggressive. Lady Brady Represents her trans femininity. Lately, she has been making some of the best house music in NYC. Braydbunch is back in school as well working on their ableton live and dj skills, because she plans on putting on many live shows this year. Just like Braydbunch’s gender can’t fit in a box, neither can her music. She is currently working on finishing up a hip hop mixtape with some platinum selling features on it. She also finishing up her debut dance album. Her biggest inspirations are Mac Miller, Eminem, Calvin Harris and Lady Gaga.
