The world of Drag is colorful, beautoful and sometimes outrageous world. Daniel and I talk about that as well as being a stylist during a pandemic, do's and don'ts for doing your own hair at home as well as equality, inclusion and the need for more conversation to understand other people's journeys.

My name is Dan W Chapman, 25 and I’m a hairstylist, wig designer and the owner of The Riah hair studio & The Riah Project. During my 9 years in the hairdressing industry, i’ve built my reputation by working on multiple photoshoots, catwalks, competitions and tv shows. Recently opening my own salon, The Riah hair studio. Where we have a simple goal to promote inclusion within the beauty industry. By ditching beauty standards, we allow people the freedom to have a comfortable, judgement free salon experience. We hope to created a space where people where we can integrate communities comfortably and promote Allyship between these communities.  

I also started The Riah project. This is a monthly meet up where people from the local LGBTQ+ community can come and have a haircut for ‘what they can afford’ prices and we also invite artists and performers. Creating a sober space for the community to socialise.
