When our guest couldn't call in, Gene and Mary talk about a spirit named Clary Sage who had an unscheduled visit at Green Gables at Historic River Village. Mary tells how she talked with the misunderstood spirit and discovered he was sad, angry, and confused. Grateful for Mary's unconditional love and respect for him, Clary Sage not only left the area, but he took other dark spirits with him. His mother had named him Clary Sage, to protect him, but he was angry that his name couldn't protect him from slave traders.
