Marcetta Davis-Linton comes from a long line of strong women and aligns herself with inspirational woman. Her grandmother called her an old soul.
She said, “bUenke has introduced me to a whole new world of people that are just like me. I became a preschool teacher to pay my way in college and we do a lot of ecofriendly teaching to install the next generation of nature. I am excited to see where bUneke is going and hope that the public is more aware of how to protect nature.”
This former Girl Scout wanted to be an astronaut and attended an opening flag ceremony at Kennedy Space center, where she met Robert “Hoot” Gibson. Mesmerized by his personal tales of flight, she was drawn to write too.
She’s okay being her town’s crazy dog mom. She cooks natural dog biscuits and donates them to the local animal shelter. She has several dogs, including one with special needs and we’ll talk with her about what that means.
Marcetta said she is not special, but just an ordinary girl who loves the natural world and she wants to give its voice back. She quotes Harrison Ford, who said, “We need nature. Nature doesn’t need us.”
