Romans 8:8,11
Everywhere we look, we see death and disease, confusion and pain, moans and groans, sickness and sighing, crying and dying, it's all around us! That's the reason that Resurrection Day is so very important and why Paul wrote the following two verses in Romans.
See Romans 8:11 KJV
[11] But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken (give life to) your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you.
And Romans 8:18 KJV
[18] For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.
Here Paul's talking about Resurrection Day, hurts and alleluias as he uses that bookkeeping term (reckon). Join us as we focus on 4 key words from Chapter 8 of the Book of Romans and see that The Resurrection DOES turn Hurts into Alleluias!
