SDG 292 That Same Power

Romans 8:9 

Happy Resurrection Day!  In the early church when one believer greeted another, the first one to speak would say, "He is rsen."  and the other would reply, "He IS risen indeed!"

Now did you know that that same power that rose Jesus from the grave lives in you!!??!!

And that power's actually a person and His name is Holy Ghost!

The Bible says in Romans 8:9, "But ye are not in the flesh but in the spirit, if so be that the spirit of God dwell in you."

Then Paul makes a very emphatic statement and says, "Now if any man have not the spirit of Christ, he is none of His."

Romans chapter 8 is a great chapter on the Holy Spirit of God and many truths are taught in Romans 8.

In truth the Holy Spirit dwelling in us as believers distinguishes us from all others!

Look at what Jesus has to say about this in John 14:16-17 KJV
[16] And I will pray the Father, and He shall give you another Comforter, that He may abide with you for ever; [17] Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth Him not, neither knoweth Him: but ye know Him; for He dwelleth with you, and shall be in you.

He ministers to us as the Spirit of life,
He ministers to us as the Spirit of Christ,
