SDG 232 THE PARABLES OF JESUS 2 - The Tares AKA Counterfeit Christians

Matthew 13:24–30; 37–40 

This is part 2 of the 7 parables of Jesus found in Matthew 13.

Now we all know that not everybody who claims to be a Christian is a Christian.

Pastor Vance Havner once said, "Too many church members have been starched and ironed but they've never been washed, they have never come to know the LORD Jesus Christ as their personal Savior and LORD."

Many believers are both confused and troubled when they see so much hypocrisy and cultish behavior parading around under the banner of Christendom that is neither real nor genuine and this causes many to think that perhaps the whole thing has gone wrong so this message can serve as comfort.

But there's also a word of warning to those who are not true believers in the LORD Jesus Christ plus a word of instruction showing us how to deal with these people who are counterfeit Christians.
