SDG 98 Cornerstone

1Peter 2:4-9

The truth is that we are either going to stand on Jesus Christ as our foundation or will fall on Him as we try to by-pass Him.

Jesus is The Rock, so the only question is what type of stone is He in your life: The Cornerstone or the Stumbling Stone?

As your Cornerstone, He’ll help you step on into heaven but as your Stumbling Stone you will fall into hell as you try to bypass Him on life's journey.

God’s Word says that everyone will deal with this “precious stone,” God’s Son.  Jesus is the stone upon which men stumble and the rock upon which they fall.

In this message, we'll see how Jesus, the “living stone” can bring us the fulfillment, direction and strength we need to live life joyfully each and every day regardless of our circumstances.

Now times have always been tough for the followers of Jesus, they always have been and they always will be while sojourning here on earth.

But fortunately Jesus Christ has ALWAYS been sufficient.

So get ready to hear some timeless truths of a life lived on the Rock, not on the rocks, but on The Rock, The Cornerstone, whose name is Jesus!
