Luke 4:1
Do you long for the time when you won't face temptation? After spiritual highs we must beware because that's a prime time when the enemy attacks and this is when we must be very careful! There are three ways to handle temptation and two of them are wrong. One way is to simply give in to temptation. So some people don’t worry about temptation because they live like animals for self gratification, self preservation, and self propagation. Basically they do whatever they want to do, however they want to act, whatever they want to feel like, they just do it. They reason whatever feels good is natural, and whatever is natural is beautiful, and so that’s the way they live. The motto of the Luciferians, the Satanists, the Theosophists and the Illuminati is "do as thou wilt, that is the whole of the law". And that's plain wrong! Another way is to fight temptation in the strength of the flesh. Now that may be admirable but it's futile; because it never ever works! Sure there may be some overcoming of some particular habit, but we just trade one sin for another and if we do succeed in one area, then we become proud and bitter Pharisees in another. So we never actually overcome temptation by the strength of our flesh or will power! Now the third way is the right way and what we’re going to look at in this message and that Way is a Person, The LORD Jesus Christ and His example for us as we "Walk in His Footsteps"!
