We Must Eliminate Stress - Psalm 23:2
What are you stressed about today? Work, health, relationships, the economy? God wants His sheep to learn how to get quiet, lie down in green pastures and drink from still waters and unless we do we are not on the path to rapture readiness.
If we are stressed that's a sign of potential sin and if we are headed to sin we have our backs to the arrival of our King and we are not "rapture ready".
Let's see how stress will melt away, our desire to sin will disappear and our “rapture readiness” will increase as we learn to stay close to our Shepherd and realize what green pastures and still waters represent in our study of the second verse of Psalm 23.
We will see that we are stressed because we are in a spiritual sense like sheep. Spiritually we are dumb, defenseless, directionless and dependant. To righteously handle stress we need security, sufficiency and serenity. And only the Good Shepherd Who is compassionate, caring and courageous can provide that for us. The LORD Jesus Christ must become our "All in all" as Paul told the Colossians in chapter 3 verse 11 if we are to become "rapture ready".
Get ready, this is Part Two of our "Rapture Readiness Review"!
