                                        RUEBEN DOCKERY

Topic: How to Survive Nashville’s Rising Economic Tide!

Not too long ago, during our May 1-2, 2010 Flood, Nashville received more than 13 inches of rainfall. It raised the Cumberland River and several others over their bank levels. This flooding devastated areas throughout Nashville and surrounding counties, taking lives and destroying homes, businesses, and roadways. A massive community response resulted in more than 25,000 volunteers helping with cleanup and repairs.

Allegorically, another tide has hit Nashville! However it is not by rain nor water, but economic growth. Unfortunately, this tide does not raise “all boats” simply because many constituents either don’t have a boat or the economic vessels are laced with holes!

Over the years Nashville has seen many changes, some good and some bad! Over the next four years is the time for us to make sure that things change in the favor of all constituents.

Please join RUEBEN DOCKERY in a community dialogue as he shares his plan as your next Senator of the Tennessee 19th Senatorial District for surviving the economic tide in Nashville, Tennessee.
