If you have followed TALK-STRAIGHT for some time then you know that much of our conversational focus has been on building up young males of Urban American cities. While Building Families & Communities Institute’s research based lecture series is specifically based on the Anthropology of Urban American male youth, we recognize that it is important to strike a balance with some concentration on their female counterpart. There are positive examples of young ladies being productive and making meaningful contributions to society!

Join TALK-STRAIGHT host, Rev. Dr. Rueben Dockery and his special guest: Ms. Kenya Shelton, Chicago AAU Coach and Mentor. Her efforts to teach - inspire and build young ladies into productive citizens of our society will be share with the listening audience.
