THE CIVIL RIGHTS MOVEMENT:

A CONVERSATION WITH ONE OF ITS “BELOVED SONS”

Earlier in our series on the American Electoral Process, we discussed Frederick Douglas, the father of the African American Civil Rights Movement. There are some who think the civil rights struggle began in 1959 with the Southern Christian Leadership Conference. While it did not start there, there was a faithful son of that era who carried out the tenants of the Movement!

Join TALK-STRAIGHT host, Rev. Dr. Rueben Dockery as he holds a posthumous interview with the late, Rev. Dr. James Luther Bevel, Sr. architect of the sixties Civil Rights Movement.

This is not an episode to miss!

Special Guest:

Mr. Don G. Bevel – El,

Eldest Son of Dr. James L. Bevel, Sr.
