BAMS reviews MTSU and digs into Longhorns win over Rice

The Alabama Crimson Tide started off with a stunning win over MTSU last Saturday. The surprise wasn't in the victory itself, but in how easy it appeared on both sides of the ball. The offense was crisp and efficient while the defense was completely smothering. That does inspire confidence heading into a big game against Texas, but the team still needs to get punched in the mouth to see how they respond. Overall, though, Drew, Fish and Thomas are confident that the team will respond and all three took Alabama to cover the spread against Texas this upcoming Saturday.
