The Book of James is the first part of the New Testament God gave after the Old Testament Book of Malachi. I believe it is significant that the first instruction that God gave after over four hundred years of silence since He completed the Old Testament
James 1:2-5, "My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations (trials); Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience. But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing. If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him."
