On our show today we discuss Money and Marriage with Sturat Burns from Bank of America. Money is a major cause of conflict in marriage and there are many reasons why. Beyond the saying “money makes the world go ‘round”, money also reveals a lot about an individual. In a marriage, money can cause conflict as couples come face to face with adapting to their spouse’s spending patterns, debt that was brought into the marriage and different values and/or ideas of how and where money should be spent.
