Part 3 of Movin Forward/Wounded Church Now Time for Healing

Many people feel they have been burned or hurt by the church, as well as wounded. This often results in wanting to have nothing further to do with the church, or in a reluctance to fully participate. We therefore seek to find the root in order that church hurts will be healed. Because  of somebody or people within a particular church who hurt you, it filters through and contaminate any and all associated with the entire congregation.   If someone in leadership was involved, or even knew of the issue and did nothing, this can add a feeling of betrayal , or abandonment; the people who were supposed to be protecting at least, or helping at best, did not do that.  Clicks in the church must be abandon, because sometime of these mistakes, it more difficult to trust leadership in other churches as well.
