Whether through face-to-face contact with individual patients, workshop groups and conference participants, or through the printed word--Evelyn uses her loving humor and passion to open people's hearts and inspire them to live more joyful, fulfilling and purposeful lives. Evelyn Rysdyk will be joining us for a conversation about her new book, The Norse Shaman that will explore the roots of our earliest human connections to spirit and how they relate to the present. Along the way, we’ll be talking about the central role of women in shamanism, how tumultuous changes in the past are preserved in the mythic stories of the Old Norse, the way patriarchal culture has impacted the self-image of all genders, and damaged the relationships we humans have with each other and with nature. Evelyn will also offer her perspectives about how we can choose to heal these broken threads. Her website is: http://www.evelynrysdyk.com
