Hello everyone, I am Leonna Abraham Brandao, Host for Blog Talk Radio/ Sheddinglight.

We are back again to discuss recent testimonies made at the Massachusetts State House, in regards to Prison Reform. Donna Winant, Founder of Family, Friends and Individuals of Mentally Ill, will talk about the many Bills being discussed, to reduce mass incarceration in the United States. Frans Douw, Former 27 year Warden and an expert in all areas of incarceration, may also be joining us in this very important and necessary discussion. 

There are more than 2.3 million people in U.S. Prisons. The highest incarceration rate in the World. In addition, this inappropriate and harsh  treatment and sentencing, also consists of ongoing lies, deceit and manipulation by many, not all, but many Prison Officials and Guards around the Country.  We will discuss these unaddressed issues as well as, speaking out on resolutions to reduce mass incarceration,  Rehabilitate and Release men, women and youth, who can now be more productive in helping to prevent further crime, than wasting away in inhumane and unhealthy Prison conditions.
