Hello everyone, I am Leonna Abraham Brandao, Host for Blog Talk Radio/ Shedding Light.

Today, we have a special Guest, who will be Shedding light on numerous issues of concern, related to decisions made by our  Legislative Leaders . One issue primarily being, the expunging of Marijuana Offenses From Criminal Records.

Mr. Brian Winters, Founder of An American Union,  a non-partisan super PAC, which endorses both Republican and Democratic candidates, is an organization with a focus more so on Policy, rather than Party.  With the federal legalization of marijuana passed in the House. The foundation is pushing for marijuana offenses expunged from criminal records and possibly ending prison and/or jail sentences. Cash bail has tend to favor those who have monetary resources than those who have little to no resources to get out of jail. We will now hear more from our Guest, about this issue which has contributed to mass incarceration in the U.S. and the need to make changes. Let's welcome Mr. Brian Winters, Founder of An American Union.
