Hello everyone, I am Leonna Abraham Brandao, Host for Blog Talk Radio/ Shedding Light. 

Tom Dormer, our guest every Thursday, is back with us to discuss the Seriousness of mass incarceration and the barriers to success in and out of prison. Tom will also discuss the proud and boastful individuals placed in position to control the currently and formerly incarcerated individuals, rather than encourage and ensure their well being and productivity once returning to society.  It is always people in higher positions, that seem to cause more barriers to productivity than those they are supposed to monitor. But before we welcome Tom, I want to also welcome another Guest who will be on the Show with us today. Janet Lee, Coordinator of the upcoming National Day of Freedom and Justice Rally. Janet will be speaking on some of the same issues as Tom has been discussing every Thursday.  However, she is also going to update us all, on the Preparations for the Rally, where to find them on Facebook and how everyone can get involved.  So, let's welcome our two Special Guests, Tom Dormer and Janet Lee.
