Hello everyone, I am Leonna Abraham Brandao, Host for Blog Talk Radio/ Shedding Light. We've been honored to have on with us these past couple of weeks, a young man Thomas Dormer, who served four years in prison from the age of nineteen to twenty-three and who is now 27 years old with so much wisdom and discernment, . A young man who has educated all of us on the ineffectiveness of prisons for most of the population of incarcerated individuals who have made a mistake or mistakes in their lives. Thomas had childhood goals to become a Professional Soccer Player, until in later years he made one mistake that put those dreams to sleep. At least for four years. Thomas has since been released and he has gone full force in once again, pursuing those goals. Before we begin however, I would like for Thomas to talk about all the good things he did, prior to that one mistake, the cause of his downfall and the experiences while in prison, to demonstrate why many prisoners are not rehabilitated and why Prison Reform is so important during these critical times. Please once again, welcome Thomas Dormer.
