What is "Authentically Black"?

Come join Abe, Shanda, Doncalypso, and the regular Platinum Queens West contributors, for a discussion on the topic of what is "Authentically Black." 

 

 

We've heard for years that if one lacks "swagger" and/or "street cred," or if one does not speak Ebonics then one isn't "Authentically Black."   It has also been said that if one moves out of the projects (or "the 'hood") then one has forgotten what it is to be "Authentically Black."
