Jesus is the vine and we are the branches. As we listen to our Lord's teaching, we are led to examine our spiritual life, and ask "What kind of branch am I? Am I a vibrant, fruitful branch? Or do I need to grow in my faith?" By God's grace and forgiveness, we can grow closer to Jesus and become stronger in our spiritual life.
