Here's a message for Ash Wednesday. The ashes on our forehead remind us of our mortality. Because of Adam's fall, we are but dust and ashes. But the ashes also remind us of the second Adam, Jesus of Nazareth. Our perfect Lord comes to restore what Adam lost. In Jesus, you have hope, life, forgiveness and salvation. That is the true message of Ash Wednesday.
