When Jesus rides into Jerusalem on Palm Sunday, the crowds welcomed their Messiah King. In the same way, we welcome our King who comes to us in mercy and grace. The Son of God comes into this world to bring us salvation and hope. This is why he goes to the cross to pay the price for our sins. Thanks be to God, he died for all of us. In him, we have forgiveness and a new life.
