How True Is This Statement, Once Saved; Always Saved? Well, Let's Find Out What the Word of God Says About This Statement...!
John 10:27-30 KJV, clearly states, " My sheep hear my voice, and I know them: And I give unto them eternal life, and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand. My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father's hand. I and my Father are one." This statement is straight out of our Lord's mouth!
This is NOT to say that after a believer has gotten saved, he or she could continue committing sins, doing whatever they want to do, NO, the Bible is also very clear about this. For, as a concern, godly, earthy father corrects his earthly children, so does the heavenly Father corrects His Heavenly sons and daughters, according to Hebrews 12:5-11.KJV
If there is no response to the correction, and that person continues in his or her malicious ways, the Bible has the answer for that also, according to the
1 Corinthians 5-11 KJV.
This tells us there is no punishment for a true believer when he or she meets God in heaven after death.
This misconception of this losing salvation comes from a misinterpretation of a verse in Hebrews 6:4-8 KJV. which I will elaborate on during the presentation of the message.
Other related verses such as Matthew 7:13-14; 21-23 will also be discussed, if time permits.
