We shall continue with our topic, "Unto the angel of the Seven Churches of Asia..."
Today, we shall finish the last remaining three churches of Asia, namely: The church of Sardis, the church of Philadelphia, and the church of Laodicea. We shall learn about the church which was rebuked by the Lord the most, the church of Laodicea. The most supposed rich church, as it is compared with the poorest church, the church of Smyrna. Below you will find a brief description of the church of Laodicea:
Revelation 3:14-21. V- 15 "...I know thy works, that thou art neither cold nor hot: I would thou wert cold or hot." They were extremely Lukewarm when it came to serving the Lord Jesus! They thought, they were rich, but Lord told them, they were poor!
I shall compare this church with the church of Smyrna, the most faithful church. Revelation 2:8-11.
