Show Topic: The New Year presents an opportunity for A Fresh Start, A New Attitude, New Thoughts, Change, Moving Forward. All positive concepts. Easier to conceive, harder to implement. A number of official and unofficial unwritten philosophies come into play, such as: Honesty, Trust, There's nothing constant but change, No Free Lunch, It is Better to Understand, Than to be Understood, and Blind Faith. We've purposely left one out, which is the genesis of our New Years Show Edition: FORGIVENESS. Forgiveness of one's self and or others for misdeeds or offenses, is extremely critical for progress in treatment and recovery, yet, it is often one of the most difficult to implement. Lets see if we can get the ball rolling on this one to start the New Year.
