Stewart/ President and Founder of Louisiana Center for Health Equity, will be discussing the need for a more coordinated, systematic approach to address the disparate health outcome of women, especially Black Women. This year (2020) we celebrate the 100th year of women's right to vote. Yet, women in Lousiana ranked 50th nationally for health outcomes according to 2019 reports. This need could be met through the creation of an Office on Women's Health. That is what we are advocating for now. By dedicating an office to the limprovement of women's health outcomes.
